FRANKIE ROLL


What is a Frankie? Frankies are India's flavorful street food, also known as the Mumbai Burrito, Bombay Burrito, or roti wrap – this vegan version is filled with curry mashed potatoes, roasted Indian cauliflower and chickpeas, fresh spinach, Cilantro Mint Chutney and onions, all wrapped up in a warm tortilla. its also making in a Chinese style and also combination.


Method of cooking.there are so many ways to making a Frankie's roll this way i like it.

vegetables u can use also. like onion, spring onion courliflower, pea's, corn,broccoli,and beans, capsicum, bell peppers beetroot also be used. 


Roti for the rolls. I used the all purpose wheat flour for chapati u can use  any kind of roties or even tortila here. 



souce and chutney. schezwan souce to the spices up the rolls you maye use any your favorite souce.for the rolls,a green chutney also i used was in my recipe if u want u can skip it.


Ingredients...

wheat flour 1 cup 

water hulf cup warm 

salt 

oil 

boil potatoes 2 medium size 

garlic choped 1 tsp 

chilli 1 tsp 

ginger garlic past half tsp 

onion 

capsicum 

corieander leave 

schezwan souce 

cheess 

tomato ketchup 

soya souce 

veniger 

haldi pine for colour 

mirchi 

coriander powder 

Frankie massala  or maggi massla

black pepper 



process


making dough  for rolls.


1. Add 1 heapd cup of whet flour to a mixing bowl along with salt you.

2. Add little less then 1/3 cup of water along with 1 tsp oil. 

3. mix it and make a dough sprinkle more water if need knead it well till look soft and patible. 

4.cover this with moist cloth or a lid and set aside until we make the filling. 



Make a stuffing. let's take a havavy bottom pan or wok.soute garlic,chilli until a nice aroma comes out,set the fleame to highest and add the potatoes and satir until looking light golden continue soute on high flame 2 to 3 mint now add all the massala haldi 1/3 tea spoon corieander powder 1/2 powder 

mirchi powder 1/3 maggi massla or frenkie massla 1/2 spoon salt to tsat  stair and put on fresh coriander leavs.


we can ready our second veggies mixture 

heat the oil ginger garlic past hapf tea spoon  aow add capsicum, onion, carrate soute until the veggies are partially done and remain crunchy. add peppers and salt to taste toss another 1 to 2 mint at this stage u can also use half tea spoon veniger and 1 tea spoon soya souce set this site to cold completely. 


now making a roti. just give queik knead ones more divide the dough 4 to 5 in equal parts.roll the dough even chapati  withaout  applying to  much pressure, heat tawa medium flame and cook both side until golden spot apper with same oil and also ghee or butter. 




now assemble your roll smear schezwan souce including on the edge place the photo mixture on side and also veggies mixture topping with tomato ketchup and green chutney greated cheess.begain to roll tightly and stick up the edge your roll was ready to serve.
